EAP Pre-Departure On-line Orientation Quiz

Welcome to the EAP Pre-Departure On-line Orientation Quiz. This quiz is separated into three learning modules. You will be instructed to read a number of resources and take a short quiz after reading each module. These quizzes will assist you in learning important EAP information, as well as help to familiarize you to with where this information is located so that you can refer back to it when you have questions.

The on-line orientation is separated into the following three modules:

  1. General Information and Academics
  2. Finances and Housing
  3. Health and Safety

All of the web links you need to complete the quiz can be accessed via the CIE Home Page: http://www.cie.uci.edu/

You must complete all three modules by the deadline specified on the EAP Pre-Departure Requirements web page. Do not wait until the last minute to start the modules, as you will need to spend some time reading information prior to taking the quiz.

You may choose to complete all three modules at one time, or you may stop after completing each quiz and return later to complete the remaining modules. You will not be able to save and exit in the middle of a quiz, so please plan accordingly. Although this online format is tailored to your own pace and schedule, you will not be permitted to proceed to the next module until every question is answered correctly. Upon successful completion of all three modules, your online orientation quiz requirement will be fulfilled, and your name will be registered in our database.
